Whether you're rolling in with a 40-foot rig or pitching a classic four-person tent Lava Campground is the perfect home base for your  Lava Hot Springs adventure. 

  • Spacious RV Sites:  level pads with plenty of room for slide-outs.  Enjoy power 20/30/50 and water hookups and easy maneuvering for even the largest trailers
  • Riverside Tent Sites:  Fall asleep to the sound of the Portneuf River.  These prime spots offer immediate water access-perfect for morning coffee by the bank or launching your tube for a relaxing afternoon.
  • Single and Group Sites:  From cozy, private nooks for solo travelers to expansive group areas we can accommodate any size party.

VACATION RENTALS

Experience the best of Lava Hot Springs without the tent stakes. Whether you’re gathering the whole family for a reunion or enjoying a cozy getaway for two, our vacation rentals offer a modern, comfortable home base just one mile from downtown. Our Vacation Rental House is ideal for larger groups, comfortably sleeping up to 12 guests. For smaller stays, our two Studio Apartments (sleeps 2) and our scenic Lookout Apartment (sleeps 4) provide private, relaxing retreats. Each rental includes a full kitchen and a private bathroom for added comfort and convenience. Best of all, you can leave the car behind. A scenic half-mile mountain walking trail connects the campground directly to Lava Hot Springs, offering a beautiful way to reach town. With breathtaking views, a playground for the kids, and all the amenities of our family-owned grounds, you can enjoy the “Lava” lifestyle in total comfort.
